About Us
We've created Cupid's Lab as a social experiment in online dating. We hope to prove that by adding a human touch to finding love and romance, we will connect people better than any matchmaking technology.
Users can participate as either matchmakers or daters. The matchmaker's goal is to help their single friends find a match. This is done by connecting with other matchmakers and finding a match for their single friends within their network. Daters can search for other single members within their area, but also have the ability to search exclusively for other singles that are connected through their matchmakers.
Because we encourage our users to connect with their friends, a network of trust is created, and as many internet daters know, trust is becoming continually more important in online dating. Through your friends you can be more confident that a potential match is not lying about things like age, height, or how they look with a misleading photo.
Most of all we want our users to be safe and have fun! We have tried our best to make using Cupid's Lab fun and are looking to experiment with ways to make using our site a rewarding experience for both matchmakers and daters alike.
So move over, Cupid! You've had your fun, but we think our friends can do a better job!
